What curriculum program does Carter’s Christian Academy adhere to?
Carter’s Christian Academy abides by the A Beka curriculum. The A Beka curriculum provides education to children from a biblical standpoint. Material is presented from God’s point of view. The purpose of the program is to build God's Kingdom, to develop Christian character, and to instruct the student body on biblical principles.

What are the topics covered in the A Beka curriculum?
With A Beka, children will learn about all of the topics they would normally discuss in school such as history, English, science, economics, computers, arts and math. The difference is they will learn about these subjects from a biblical standpoint.

What is Carter’s Christian Academy’s enrollment process?
As an applicant to Carter’s Christian Academy, you will be given a copy of the Carter’s Christian Academy Handbook and be asked to read it. Next, we will schedule a time for you to meet with the Assistant Administrator who will introduce you to the program and answer any questions you have regarding our policies and procedures. Finally, we will give you an Enrollment Packet and ask you to fill out a series of forms to complete your child’s enrollment.

What attire are the students expected to wear?
All students are required to wear uniforms. Our uniforms are Blue, Black and Khaki. Any selection of shorts, skirts, sweaters, jumpers, polo shirts, white blouses/shirts and khaki pants are acceptable. Uniforms are required to be clean and neat every day. If students arrive at school not properly dressed, their parents will be called.  Parents will have to bring them a uniform or the child will be sent home or to the person listed on their contact form.

What meals does Carter’s Christian Academy provide?
We provide breakfast, lunch and snack. Breakfast is served every morning at 7:30 a.m. for students that arrive early. Please notify the school of any food allergies.

What are the school hours?
School begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. and dismisses at 3:00 p.m.

Do you offer Extended Care?
We offer the convenience of quality care from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., so that your child remains cared for in a safe, nurturing environment when the academic day is completed.

Do you have an open parent policy?
Yes, Parents are welcome to visit and pick up their children at any point during the day. However, we do ask that you notify us ahead of time to minimize the disruption to our daily routine. You are the only person authorized to pick up your child unless you notify us otherwise. We will request photo identification if the person is not known to the staff by sight, if your child cannot readily identify the person, or if your child acts uncomfortable about going with the person.

What are your procedures for absences?
If your child is going to be absent, please call the school office at (414) 466-3284 or 414-466-9120 before 9:00 a.m. This is school policy and your cooperation is necessary to assure the safety of our children.

When is morning Bible Time?
Morning Bible Time is held every morning from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
